People sometimes ask me why I stopped working for the government and became a teacher. The truth is I really could see no other way to solve the world's problems than to teach people how not to cause problems.
In my day China was overrun with rude and dishonest people. Really all they cared about was themselves and money. China was truly in disorder due to the people's lack of decency.
I wanted people to take a step back. I wanted them to look back at the time of our ancestors and see what kind of noble and honorable societies they had. Back then everyone knew their role in society and it made everything run smoothly.
That is why I became a teacher. I wanted people to be more ethical and have higher moral values. I wanted people to focus less on power and more on family. My main thing is that I wanted people to be virtuous, kind, and good students.

Really Confucius you need to focus less on people and more on nature. While I agree with you about how people shouldn't seek power, I really think that people should focus less on, well, people. Really people should just give up their concerns about the world. We should all just live in the harmony of nature.
Laozi, you are such a hippie. Like I have said thousands of times we need laws. Humans are naturally evil. Without a strong government people will stop working because there will be no one there to keep them in line. The people who work in the government aren't dishonest. We need them to enforce strict laws and punishment to keep us from crumbling into anarchy.

I think Confucious is right because you do need to think of other people before your self you can't be selfish all the time you half to think of other people first sometimes beforer yourself.

I think laozi is Wrong because people need to focus on both people and nature cause people are in are every day life and some time, we would need them ? and nature is important too cause we use trees, ( for paper) and even anmials live in are forest too .. and if we dint have nature animals would 'nt have a hpome to live!!!!!
